Next Dweller release delayed...

I had planned to release the next Dweller version this week, but I didn't get it ready in time. Unfortunately the next version will have to be delayed for a week and a half due to a planned vacation. There are some known issues with the current version, the most severe ones are:
  • Items that does a knockback effect can sometimes end up in an endless loop knocking back monster after monster. This will hang the game. Fortunately this is a rare thing, but still it's pretty severe.
  • There's also a problem with the game crashing if fighting on one of the new map tiles (checkered floor or wooden floor).

  1. I just met with a new bug in the 1.8.3 (java) version.
An item (leather helmet) was on the wall, and there wasn't a secret door. That was a random generated item, I didn't need to kill a monster for that. (I have a screenshot just in case.)

Anyway, really thank you for your great game, and best wishes for the new versions too!

  4. @anon1: I'd be interested in the screenshot. Maybe I can understand what happened by looking at it.

@anon2: What handset are you trying to install the game on and what kind of problem are you facing? Is the game installing but not starting or can't you even get it to install?

  5. I absolutely love this game, and intend on donating.

I have but one suggestion that, in my opinion, would make this game better, would be to set an option allowing the user to increase the size of the movement tiles.

I find it incredible tricky to press the tiny tiles with my fat fingers, and I'm sure other users may agree with my suggestion.

As always, keep up the great work, and thank you for producing an excellent and entertaining game.

And are you still working on a translatable version of Dweller? I'd be happy to try to translate this game in Dutch.

  8. Sorry for the slow response. Yes, there are plans to make the game longer by adding side quests and side branches of the dungeon.

  10. the game reminds me alot of a game called castle of the winds by rick saada i think his name is. Would be awesome if there was a town on surface with different shops and stuf

  11. I have heard of Castle of the Winds, but never actually played it. I receive quite a few requests to add more content to the surface, but I think I'll try to focus on making the actually dungeon exploration game play more interesting by adding more monsters, quests, rooms etc I believe that will be more "bang for the buck"
